How to Deposit Bitcoin
- Generate Your Deposit Address
- Log in to your eCripto wallet (web or desktop)
- Click on Deposit or Fund Wallet
- Select Bitcoin (BTC) as the funding method
- A unique Native SegWit (bc1...) address will be generated
- Send Bitcoin
- Copy your deposit address
- Send BTC from any Bitcoin wallet or exchange
- The address is unique to your ECRP wallet
- Wait for Confirmation
- Bitcoin deposits require network confirmations
- Typically 1-3 confirmations (10-30 minutes)
- ECRP will be credited automatically once confirmed
Deposit Status
Check your deposit status in the wallet under BTC Deposits. You will see:
- Pending: Waiting for confirmations
- Confirmed: BTC received, ECRP credited
- Transaction hash for verification
Security Notes
- Each deposit address is unique to your wallet
- Only send BTC to your deposit address (not other cryptocurrencies)
- Deposits below the minimum may not be credited
