Account security, two-factor authentication, and passkeys

Use a unique password for your client portal and enable two-factor authentication when available. Some services may also support passkeys or device approval.

  • Use password reset if you cannot sign in.
  • Keep recovery email addresses current.
  • Do not send passwords, backup codes, API keys, or private keys through tickets.
  • If you lose access, support may ask for account and service details before changing security settings.

Administrators should use named accounts instead of shared logins whenever possible.
